- A 42 016 Micro boring head has a socket diameter of 16 mm. to fit boring bars with shank diameter of 16 mm. and reductions to 5, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 16 mm, all together covering a diameter range from 6 mm. up to 38 mm. of holes.
